Close to 100 Million Passengers in Malaysia

Malaysia’s airports saw 93.8 million passenger movements in 2024, reaching 89.1% of pre-pandemic levels. This is a strong rebound despite challenges like delayed aircraft deliveries and maintenance disruptions.

Malaysia Airlines (MH) has taken a major step in modernizing its fleet, receiving its first Airbus A330neo from aircraft lessor Avolon. This marks the beginning of a fleet expansion plan that will introduce 20 A330-900 aircraft to the airline’s operations.
