Fly Non-Stop! Air India Express Connects Hindon with Kolkata, Goa & Bengaluru

Air India Express, a Tata-owned low-cost airline, is set to introduce new non-stop flights to Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad starting March 2025. The airline will connect Hindon with three major Indian cities—Kolkata, Goa-Dabolim, and Bengaluru—enhancing connectivity and offering travelers a convenient alternative to Indira Gandhi International Airport.

With this expansion, Air India Express becomes the first airline to operate from both airports in the Delhi region. The new routes will particularly benefit passengers from Central and East Delhi, Noida, Indirapuram, Vaishali, and nearby areas, along with travelers from Western Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

  • Delhi NCR: Noida, Indirapuram, Vaishali, and Central & East Delhi
  • Western Uttar Pradesh: Meerut, Saharanpur
  • Uttarakhand: Dehradun, Haridwar

By operating from Hindon, the airline aims to reduce travel time and offer budget-friendly fares while catering to growing domestic travel demands.

Affordable Fares for the New Routes

Air India Express has introduced competitive introductory fares for these new flights:

  • Hindon–Kolkata: ₹4,400
  • Hindon–Goa: ₹4,900
  • Hindon–Bengaluru: ₹6,000

Past Delays and Resumption of Service

In June 2024, Air India Express had initially announced flights to Hindon. However, for unknown reasons, bookings were later halted. The airline is now set to officially launch operations in March 2025, offering travelers more choices and enhanced connectivity.

Air India Express’s new flights from Hindon Airport mark a major milestone in domestic air travel. With convenient schedules, competitive fares, and better accessibility, the airline is set to offer seamless connectivity for passengers in Delhi NCR, Western Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.

The move strengthens Hindon’s role as a cost-effective alternative to IGI Airport, catering to the increasing demand for affordable travel.
