The flag carrier of Portugal is kicking off the new year with a slew of deals for US tourists.TAP Air Portugal has announced special offers for 2025 to seven cities in Portugal and 40 destinations across Europe and Africa from its seven US hubs.

The sale began today and will run through January 19th, 2025. No discount code is necessary, and qualifying flights depart from the following airports: Boston, Chicago, New York JFK, Newark, Miami, San Francisco, and Washington Dulles.
TAP, a member of the Star Alliance, collaborates with United Airlines to transfer passengers from their network to flights to Portugal and other destinations. In a statement to Simple Flying, Carlos Antunes, TAP’s Director for the Americas, stated his pleasure about the discounted fares coming on sale:

The offer is currently live and covers travel from January 15th to May 15th, 2025 (with the exception of the blackout dates of April 7th-22nd).
How much are flights to Portugal?
This spring, the New Year deal offers roundtrip tickets to Europe starting at $419, while Business Class flights to Portugal start at $2299 roundtrip.
Passengers departing from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and Miami International Airport (MIA) can take advantage of the most economical roundtrip flights to Madrid and Barcelona, starting at $419.
Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) offers the lowest rates to Copenhagen and Dublin. Roundtrip tickets from the United Airlines hub to Barcelona, Madrid, Oslo, Paris, Stockholm, and Warsaw are all available for less than $500.
West Coast passengers can discover the greatest offers departing from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to Barcelona, Madrid, and Milan for around $500. Flights to Funchal and Porto Santo in Madeira, as well as the Moroccan cities of Marrakech and Casablanca, cost somewhat less than $700 round way.
