The incident occurred at approximately 11 AM, mid-flight. The pilot demonstrated exceptional expertise, successfully landing the helicopter near Banepa without any harm to the five US nationals or the Nepali pilot onboard.
Despite minimal visible damage, Heli Everest has confirmed a thorough technical inspection of the helicopter to ensure its airworthiness before it returns to operation.
