FORT WORTH- For the Northern Summer 2025 season, American Airlines (AA) has announced modifications to its international route schedule. To improve its intercontinental services, these modifications include equipment swaps, seasonal adjustments, and additional routes.
By adding additional destinations and improving connection on well-traveled routes, the airline has proactively modified its operations to meet passenger demand.
Aeroroutes claims that these modifications, which take effect in March 2025, demonstrate American Airlines’ dedication to streamlining its global network.
American Airlines Flight Schedule Changes
American Airlines (AA) will add new routes and modern aircraft to its global network in 2025. By offering longer seasonal flights, the airline expands its global reach. Passengers everywhere now have improved travel options thanks to these upgrades.
Boston (BOS)
An improvement to the Boston–London Heathrow (BOS–LHR) route is announced by American Airlines.
A Boeing 777-300ER, which offers better passenger comfort, will take the place of the present Boeing 777-200ER from April 17 to April 28. There is still only one flight each day on this route.
Charlotte (CLT)
For the summer of 2025, Charlotte anticipates a substantial increase in international connectivity. An important step toward linking North Carolina and Greece will be taken on June 5th, when a Boeing 777-200ER launches a new daily service to Athens (CLT–ATH).
Furthermore, there are still plenty of flights to London Heathrow (CLT–LHR). A Boeing 777-300ER operates one of the three daily flights (AA730/733), with the Boeing 777-200ER operating the other two.
With effect from March 25, these modifications guarantee a variety of transatlantic travel possibilities.

Chicago O’Hare sees notable changes in its transatlantic network:
- The Boeing 787-8 seasonal service to Barcelona (ORD–BCN) has been extended until October 24.

Furthermore, the previously scheduled commencement time of the seasonal Paris Charles de Gaulle (ORD–CDG) service has been rescheduled from 04 May 25 to 02 September 25.

In order to maximize capacity and efficiency, these changes combine modern planes with higher frequencies.

Beginning on June 5, both daily flights on the Tokyo Haneda (LAX–HND) route will only fly Boeing 787-9 aircraft, providing improved service and fuel economy.
